Wolfgang Nestel

Wolfgang Nestel is an Investment Manager with a sector focus on Sustainability, Circular Economy, Supply Chain Management, Finance and Cyber Security. He is located in Germany and responsible for the region France. Wolfgang is the legal counterpart in relation to all Venture Capital investments.

By profession, Wolfgang is a banker and a lawyer, who practiced law in a British law firm out of Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and London, United Kingdom, for about four years advising international clients in business and financial law. During his time as legal counsel he also worked at a European Investment Bank in London, United Kingdom. Wolfgang joined Evonik in 2008, initially working in the central legal department in banking, finance and capital markets law. From 2012, he worked in the central finance department dealing with Evonik Group debt financings from a commercial perspective. Before joining the Evonik Venture Capital team in 2018, Wolfgang was assistant to the Evonik Group’s Chief Financial Officer for over four years.
